This week at What Next? programme participants got a chance to take part in a multi-sensory activity session helping develop skills in sensory integration. Multi-sensory activities provide a variety of sensory stimulation for young people with additional needs.
Champions! Today and this week for #VolunteersWeek we are celebrating our amazing volunteers.
At Autonomie, we actively encourage young people who take part in our programmes to become volunteers.
We offer structured opportunities for young people to volunteer and mentor their peers, volunteer on our Youth Forum, as well as opportunities to help lead activities programmes planning and delivery.
Young people are at the heart of everything we do!
Young people with disabilities who have taken part in a huge range of activities on our programmers had their achievements recognised at the Strictly Our Achievements Celebration Event.
Held at La Mon Hotel and Country Club (5 April), the event celebrated the achievements of young people we support.
Huge thanks to everyone who made the Strictly Our Achievements Celebration Event a success yesterday, especially the young people who not only were involved in the event planning right from the start but those too involved in the delivery of the event - you were all the stars of the show yesterday evening, especially Stephanie for your beautiful solo performance of All of Me by John Legend.
