Who Freedom2Choose Is For

Freedom2Choose is designed for young people aged 14–30+ with physical disabilities and additional needs in the Belfast area who want to grow socially, try new experiences, and connect with others.

What the Programme Offers

Freedom2Choose gives participants the chance to take part in a mix of engaging, community-based activities that make independence fun and meaningful

Learning & Development

Each 13-week term focuses on personal growth themes such as good mental health, independence and keeping safe - with young people choosing the activities they want to join.

Social Activities

Group outings like cinema trips, meals out, and cultural or drama events help participants build friendships and confidence in real-world settings.

Day Trips & Exploration

Visits to local attractions - such as aquariums, zoos and heritage sites - give young people opportunities to try new experiences and feel part of their community.

Recreational Time

Participants can relax and enjoy activities of their choice at Lilac House, making space for self-directed fun and connection.
